Highlights included a great full day workshop on diagnosing, treating and managing hip pain. Significant amounts of high quality research was presented covering topiucs such as the latest on tendon injury management, athlete load monitoring from the AIS, outcomes following ACL reconstructions and their association with osteoarthritis, the high incidence of urinary incontinence in female athletes and strength and conditioning roles for Physiotherapists. Lauren spent plenty of time discussing shoulder injury management with leaders in this field from across the country and Campbell was involved with the inaugral BikeFIT group that will be pushing for Physiotherapists to be involved with fitting bikes. Watch this space for more to come from us on that topic! A stand out presenter was Todd Sampson who had the audience engaged for an hour when he talked about neural plasticity and his ABC TV show Redesign my Brain.

It was a highly motivating five days away and gave us many ideas that we’ll be implementing into our daily practce at SquareOne to help improve our patient’s move better, feel better and embrace life!!
