Brigitte Egan

Brigitte is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. She graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Since graduating, Brigitte has worked in both acute hospital and outpatient settings, across a range of specialties including maternity, orthopaedic rehab, musculoskeletal outpatients and neurology. Brigitte is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed courses in APPI Matwork Pilates and Women’s Health Physiotherapy. Brigitte was a keen dancer as a child and adolescent, and was a dance teacher for over 10 years prior to becoming a physiotherapist. She enjoys combining her refined understanding of biomechanics and posture with her physiotherapy knowledge, to provide treatments aimed at improving function for all life stages and conditions.

Brigitte is incredibly passionate about Women’s Health Physiotherapy and the positive impact it can have on the quality of life for women across all life stages. Brigitte provides management of incontinence, urinary urgency, pelvic floor dysfunction and pre/postnatal care including abdominal muscle separation and exercise prescription.

When Brigitte isn’t in the clinic, you can find her in a yoga class, on a run or enjoying the sun with friends.
